Effect of dermosupplements

The most common cause of acne breakouts (pustules, papules, comedones) is excessive activity of sebaceous glands (sebocytes). Their functioning is influenced by hormones, including androgens (such as testosterone), stress, certain dietary products (dairy, histamine-rich foods), skincare routines, and genetic factors.

Due to the multifactorial etiology of these skin changes, it is essential to support the skin both externally (skincare, treatments) and internally. Acne dermosupplement contains ingredients that act on sebocytes, reduce their activity, and provide anti-inflammatory agents that accelerate skin healing.

How to use

The package contains 120 capsules. The recommended dosage is 4 capsules per day, preferably after a heavy meal in the first part of the day.

Net weight of the product: 71.87 grams.

Sugar- and sweetener-free.

Ingredients

New formula with lactoferrin, artichoke, matcha, and probiotics:

Ground psyllium, capsule (glazing agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), Viola tricolor L. extract standardized to 5% flavonoids, L-methionine, matcha green tea powder (organic matcha powder), calcium D-pantothenate (pantothenic acid), lactoferrin, artichoke extract standardized to 5% cynarin, L-ascorbic acid, L-ascorbolinate 3 (DSM 22776), Lacticaseibacillus casei LC03 (DSM 27537), Bifidobacterium breve – BR03 (DSM 16604), thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), D-biotin, calcium methylfolate (folic acid).

Lactoferrin

Helps alleviate acne by preventing colonization by Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible, among others, for acne vulgaris. Reduces sebaceous gland activity, sebum secretion, and inflammation. It has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. Reduces levels of key pro-inflammatory cytokines and interleukins, which are involved in the development of acne, psoriasis, and atopic conditions. Acts as a regulator of iron absorption; regular supplementation with lactoferrin may increase ferritin levels. Influences the differentiation of the gut microbiome – remember, the gut and skin are closely connected. Also reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), thereby increasing epidermal hydration.

Artichoke

Artichoke positively affects liver function, promotes toxin elimination, and detoxifies the body. Cynarin in artichoke has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. This plant extract is designed for oily and acne-prone skin. Prevents seborrhea, supports the treatment of acne and psoriasis. Artichoke has hepatoprotective and antioxidant properties, helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels, and reduces cholesterol concentration in the blood. Also used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Cynarin stimulates bile secretion and supports bile flow in the bile ducts.

Viola tricolor

Used for years to relieve acne. Has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and regulates sebum production. Its effectiveness is due to its high content of flavonoids, anthocyanins, carotenoids, and phenolic acids.

Psyllium (Plantago)

Fiber is essential for proper digestive system function and for maintaining a healthy gut microbiota, which can influence acne. Psyllium can be used for SIBO and IMO. It has anti-inflammatory effects and soothes skin conditions such as acne, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Accelerates skin healing. Rich in linoleic acid (Omega 6) and phenolic compounds (antioxidants). Regulates digestion, lowers cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Scientific studies suggest a link between gut microbiome imbalances and the severity of skin lesions.

L-methionine

An essential sulfur-containing amino acid (meaning it must be supplied through diet as the body cannot produce it). Its deficiency is associated with weakened hair, skin, and nails. Long-term supplementation helps in the fight against acne.

Matcha Green Tea

100x more powerful antioxidant than vitamin C. Rich in polyphenols. Reduces acne, including rosacea. Regulates sebum secretion. Has strong anti-inflammatory effects that help soothe irritated skin. Removes toxins and detoxifies the body. Reduces skin redness. Hydrates and leaves the skin matte. Has anti-aging properties.

Zinc

One of the most important minerals for the skin. Essential in the healing process (e.g. after cosmetic procedures). Has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Used for years to support acne treatment. Zinc deficiency contributes to the worsening of acne lesions.

Vitamin B1

Has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from harmful effects of free radicals. Supports treatment of seborrhea, alopecia, and acne.

Vitamin B2

Involved in the healthy functioning of mucous membranes and skin. Its deficiency intensifies inflammatory symptoms associated with acne.

Vitamin B3

One of the most important vitamins for skin health. Has anti-inflammatory effects. Even mild deficiency can worsen acne.

Vitamin B5

Essential for the division and maturation of keratinocytes (skin cells). Its deficiency may contribute to acne, and supplementation helps reduce lesions. Supports skin regeneration, delays aging, and plays a key role in calming inflammation. Deeply hydrates the skin – especially important for acne-prone skin. Involved in fat synthesis, making it valuable in controlling excessive sebum production.

Vitamin B6

Supports synthesis of coenzyme Q10, which reduces wrinkles. A deficiency may impair collagen production and promote seborrheic lesions.

Folic Acid

Involved in cell renewal processes. Due to its reparative effect on DNA, folic acid has regenerative properties. Reduces acne scarring.

Biotin

Contains sulfur – a key element in the formation of skin, hair, and nails. Prevents seborrhea and excessive activity of sebaceous glands.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is also helpful in the care of acne- and rosacea-prone skin. Helps manage symptoms such as excessive sebum production, blackheads, bumps, pimples, or nodules.

Lacticaseibacillus casei LC03 (DSM 27537)

Helps reduce activity of C. acnes bacteria, which can cause recurring acne.

Lactobacillus salivarius – LS03 (DSM 22776)

Helps alleviate skin lesions in people with acne.

Bifidobacterium breve – BR03 (DSM 16604)

When used with other probiotic strains, helps reduce acne symptoms.
