Effect of dermosupplements

One of the causes of acne is hormonal imbalance. This is mainly related to impaired insulin metabolism (high insulin concentration) and androgen metabolism (high levels of testosterone and dihydrotestosterone). Given the multifactorial etiology of acne, the issue needs to be addressed from within the body. To achieve the best results, we recommend taking the supplement for at least 90 days.

How to use

Recommended dosage: 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening, after meals.

To enhance the effect, it is beneficial to combine it with a product containing polyunsaturated fatty acids 3-6-9.

Ingredients

Myo-inositol, N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), capsule (glazing agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), cabbage extract (Brassica oleracea var. Capitata) standardized to 10% indole-3-carbinol, zinc picolinate, D-chiro-inositol, calcium L-methylfolate, copper folinate–folic acid (copper salt of folic acid).

Myo-inositol + D-chiro-inositol

Soothes acne by reducing hyperandrogenism. Inhibits 5-α reductase (an enzyme influencing the formation of dihydrotestosterone – DHT) and has anti-inflammatory properties. Myo-inositol has a beneficial effect on glucose and insulin metabolism.

N-acetyl L-cysteine (NAC)

Prevents the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-8 and IL-6. Increases the production of glutathione – a powerful antioxidant that reduces the action of free radicals. It also reduces excessive cell proliferation (hyperproliferation is one of the causes of acne).

Indole-3-carbinol

Has anti-androgenic and anti-estrogenic effects. Participates in estrogen metabolism and also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Zinc

One of the most important mineral components for the skin. It is essential in the skin healing process (e.g. after cosmetic procedures). It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has been used for years to support acne treatment. Zinc deficiency contributes to worsening acne lesions. Zinc blocks the activity of 5-α-reductase, which causes the formation of dihydrotestosterone that intensifies acne (DHT).

Copper

Inhibits cell damage caused by free radicals. Has anti-inflammatory effects. It is an element whose deficiency may occur after long-term supplementation with high doses of zinc.

Calcium L-methylfolate (Folic acid)

Takes part in cell renewal processes. Folic acid has regenerative properties due to its reparative effect on cellular DNA. It reduces acne scarring issues.
