How dermosupplements work
A damaged skin barrier—caused by environmental factors or health conditions—leads to decreased hydration and a sensation of skin tightness. Topical moisturizers prevent water loss from the skin’s surface. To enhance hydration, it’s beneficial to combine external care with internal support (i.e., improving skin nutrition from within).
How to use
Recommended dosage: 3 capsules after a meal.
For increased effectiveness, consider combining with a supplement containing polyunsaturated fatty acids 3-6-9.
Ingredients
Glucosamine sulfate 2KCl, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), borage extract (Borago officinalis L.), sodium hyaluronate, wheat extract (Triticum vulgare) standardized to 1% phytoceramides, capsule shell (glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), coenzyme Q10, pine bark extract (Pinus massoniana) standardized to 60% OPC, cellulose, copper.
Glucosamine
A precursor involved in the synthesis of hyaluronic acid and proteoglycans, which improves skin hydration and supports proper skin structure. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, speeds up wound healing, improves hydration, and smooths wrinkles.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)
Provides sulfur necessary for the production of hyaluronic acid. Sulfur is a key component of keratin—a protein found in skin, hair, and nails. MSM improves skin condition and hydration. It has anti-inflammatory effects and supports the body’s antioxidant pathways.
Phytoceramides
Supplementation with phytoceramides can increase ceramide levels in the epidermis. Ceramides are essential components of epidermal lipids, crucial for maintaining proper skin hydration. Phytoceramides improve the skin barrier by stimulating collagen synthesis and increasing aquaporin-3 expression.
Borage extract
A source of antioxidants with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. It improves skin hydration.
Hyaluronic acid
An essential component of the skin. Due to various factors, its content decreases over time, leading to poorer hydration, wrinkle formation, and skin aging.
Coenzyme Q10
